Bakai Bank opens its first green branch in Bishkek

In an era where climate consciousness and sustainable practices are beginning to be prioritized, we are taking a bold and necessary step forward by opening a BAKAI BANK GREEN branch.

This branch is an expression of our green focus and commitment to sustainability. We live in times when preserving our planet is becoming increasingly urgent. The principles of environmental damage reduction are at the core of the branch's work:

reducing carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions through the use of energy efficient lighting, heating and cooling systems;
replacing office paper with recycled or Forest Stewardship Council certified paper;
introducing a culture of separate waste collection, disposal and recycling;
avoiding the use of household chemicals containing chlorine and phosphates;
replacing plastic utensils with utensils made of moisture-resistant cardboard;
avoiding plastic bags in favor of environmentally friendly packaging;
using an electric car as company transportation.

"We financed the purchase of electric vehicles for taxi fleets. We successfully cooperate with the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk". We initiated tree planting all over the country on the principle of "one employee - one tree". The Bank also provides interest-free installments for the purchase of gas boilers, which is of particular importance for the fight against smog in Bishkek. I will not hide, we are very proud that we have come to the opening of a green branch. The staff will do everything possible to improve the environmental situation in the country," said Nurdin Alybaev, Deputy Chairman of the Bank's Management Board.
