Escrow account

An escrow account is an account to which the payer deposits the money, with the condition of its depositing (blocking) without the right to perform debit transactions by the account holder until the fulfillment of obligations for which the money is deposited.


 A tool that allows the seller and the buyer to fulfill obligations and minimize their risks of transaction failure or the possibility of fraud by one of the parties.
