BAKAI Publishes Sustainability Report

Bishkek, August 5, 2026 - BAKAI has published its Sustainability Report for the year 2025, continuing its practice of annual non-financial disclosure.

The publication reflects BAKAI's consistent and systematic commitment to transparency, responsible business conduct, and the integration of ESG principles into corporate governance, planning, and operations. As a full participant in the UN Global Compact, the Bank views sustainable development as an integral part of its long-term strategy and a key factor in maintaining the trust of clients, partners, and society at large.

"Implementing best-in-class ESG practices and publishing regular non-financial reports reflects our core position: a modern, innovative bank must deliver not only operational reliability, but lasting value for clients, society, and investors. Integrating sustainability principles into our client engagement, risk management, and decision-making processes allows us to maintain strong competitiveness and business resilience, while meeting the expectations of our stakeholders," said Timur Ibragimov, Chairman of the Management Board of BAKAI.

The Report was prepared in accordance with the international GRI Standards. In developing it, the Bank also drew on the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) criteria, the principles of the UN Global Compact, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Report demonstrates the Bank's readiness to further scale its sustainable finance tools. Priority areas include expanding the green lending portfolio and broadening socially oriented financing - with particular focus on ensuring stable access to capital for small and medium-sized businesses and supporting women's entrepreneurship.

The full versions of BAKAI's 2025 Sustainability Report are available in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English on the Bank's official website.
