Attention! Effective April 7, 2026, changes will be introduced to the terms and conditions of money transfers to the Bank’s clients via the BakAi mobile application (hereinafter – BakAi) when using a phone number, card number, or bank account number in cases where the transfer currency differs from the crediting currency.
In such cases, transfers via BakAi will be processed with automatic conversion of funds at the Bank’s non-cash exchange rate applicable at the time of the transaction. The final credited amount is determined based on the applied exchange rate and any applicable fees
Please note that the crediting logic may differ depending on the transfer method (via phone number, card number, or account number).
For example:
| Transfer method | Sender’s account currency | Recipient’s account currencies | Crediting currency | Input amount | Exchange rate | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| via phone number | KGS | KGS, USD, KZT | USD (default card currency) | 1 USD | 87.5 KGS (debited) = 1 USD | Conversion at the Bank’s non-cash selling rate |
| via card number | USD | KGS, USD, KZT | KGS (specified card currency) | 1 USD | 1 USD (debited) = 87.0 KGS | Conversion at the Bank’s non-cash buying rate |
| via account | USD | KGS, USD, KZT | Account in transfer currency found | 1 USD | 1 USD (debited) = 1 USD | No conversion |
We recommend that you familiarize yourself in advance with the applicable conversion scheme and exchange rates, and consider possible changes in the final credited amount.
