From their third year, students of the Bishkek Financial and Economic Technical College named after A. Toktonaliev (BFET) undergo testing organized by Bakai Bank to determine in which department they will be able to develop their potential best. Following successful testing and upon agreeing to balance their studies with work, students begin their internship at the bank.
Bank employees actively share their knowledge with future financiers by participating in various events and conferences organized by the technical school together with teachers. They are also members of admission committees for the defense of theses, which allows the Bank to interact directly with the best graduates and simplifies the process of finding new talents.
"Bakai Bank" expressed its gratitude to BFET teachers for their contribution to the training of future financial specialists by presenting them with letters of appreciation. For several years in a row, the bank and the technical school have been successfully cooperating in the field of training and certification of qualified specialists.
"The internship at Bakai Bank is well-paid, and by the end of training, students are employed full-time with salary reassessment. We have over 100 branches across the country, which allows young specialists to work not only in Bishkek, but also in their home regions," noted Bakai Kurmanbekov, Director of the VIP-Center branch of Bakai Bank.
Ekaterina Yudakhina, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Bishkek Financial and Economic Technical School, added that cooperation with Bakai Bank has significantly increased the employment rate of graduates.
"Many special subjects are taught by bank employees, which allows students to receive relevant and practical knowledge. We necessarily approve curricula with the bank, ask them about what they expect from future specialists and what they need to be trained in. That is, we are now working very closely with employers. Almost 80 percent of our students find a job immediately after passing the state exams," says Ekaterina Yudakhina.
Such fruitful cooperation between educational institutions and banks is a guarantee of a successful future for young specialists who can confidently build their career in their native country.
"Every year the bank employs more than 50 students of the financial and economic technical school. Many of our employees, who have already achieved considerable success in their careers, are also graduates of Bishkek Financial and Economic Technical School named after A. Toktonaliev. We are grateful to the teaching staff and management of the technical school for training such highly qualified specialists", - emphasized Bakai Kurmanbekov.
