Up to KGS 50 Million for Business Growth: BAKAI and the State Development Bank Sign Agreement to Finance Entrepreneurs

BAKAI and the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic have signed an agreement that opens up new financing opportunities for entrepreneurs. Under the program, businesses can access between KGS 500,000 and KGS 50 million to implement green and energy-efficient projects, develop women's entrepreneurship, and promote equal opportunity.


The agreement was signed by Bakai Aidaraliev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the State Development Bank, and Nurdin Alybaev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of BAKAI.

The program provides financing for projects aligned with the Green Taxonomy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Eligible areas include energy efficiency, renewable energy, green construction, clean transportation, efficient resource use, and waste recycling.
 

Who is eligible?
The program is open to sole proprietors and legal entities that meet the following requirements:
• have operated continuously in Kyrgyzstan for at least 12 months
• have annual revenue of no more than KGS 50 million
• have no outstanding tax or insurance contribution liabilities
• comply with legal requirements on environmental protection, labor relations, and occupational safety.

 

Key financing terms:
• Amount: KGS 500,000 to KGS 50 million.
• Interest rate: up to 80% of the loan amount is funded from program resources at 8% per annum, and at least 20% from BAKAI's own funds at 18-20% per annum.
• Term: up to 60 months for investment purposes.
• Collateral: real estate.

"Today's agreement opens up new opportunities to finance green and energy-efficient projects and to support women's entrepreneurship. For BAKAI, this is a contribution not only to business growth but also to the long-term development of Kyrgyzstan's economy," said Nurdin Alybaev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of BAKAI.

BAKAI continues to expand access to finance for entrepreneurs, supporting projects that drive business growth and a sustainable future for Kyrgyzstan.
