BAKAI has made retirement easier. Future retirees no longer need to make a separate trip to the Social Fund to submit their bank account details. You can now apply for a BAKAI Elcard pension card online in advance, and the Bank will send the required account details itself so your pension can be deposited.

30 before you reach retirement age, BAKAI will send you a push notification or text message with a link to apply for a BAKAI Elcard pension card free of charge.

Applying online takes just a few minutes: follow the link, choose a convenient branch to pick up your BAKAI Elcard pension card, and confirm your application with an SMS code. Once your card is issued, you’ll receive a notification that it’s ready and can pick it up at the branch you selected.

The main advantage of the new service is that you don’t have to go to the Social Fund separately with your card details. BAKAI will send the required Elcard pension card information for your pension deposits on its own, cutting down on visits and extra paperwork.
