
On August 15, 2025, Bakai Bank received its first-ever Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) score from S&P Global, a leading international rating agency. The CSA, which evaluates the world’s top banks and companies across multiple industries, measures business performance in sustainability and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) practices.
Bakai Bank achieved a score of 57 points, significantly above the global banking sector average of 35 points.
As a result, Bakai Bank ranked in the 85th percentile of banks worldwide, placing it among the top-performing institutions globally and establishing it as one of the leading banks in Central Asia in sustainability performance.
This strong debut score underscores Bakai Bank’s ongoing commitment to embedding sustainable development principles into its business operations and conducting banking responsibly in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Looking ahead, Bakai Bank will continue to strengthen its position as an ESG benchmark within the financial sector of the Kyrgyz Republic.
