The city of Osh hosted a BAKAI Business Forum focused on the restaurant industry and entrepreneurship in the HoReCa sector. The event brought together business owners from southern Kyrgyzstan - restaurant and café owners, service entrepreneurs, and some of the country’s top names in the industry - to share experience, growth tools, and real-world cases.
The goal was to give regional entrepreneurs access to the knowledge and experience of the strongest players in the market. Speakers included:
• Aibek Djangaziev - founder of Bellagio Group and BAKAI Business ambassador
• Azamat Amatov - founder of the Mubarak teahouse chain and BAKAI Islam ambassador
• Akbar Ibragimov - CEO of Kaynar Group
• Sardar Umarov - founder of the Bublik coffee shop chain
Topics covered ranged from restaurant business development and team management to service standards, scaling, marketing, and the mistakes entrepreneurs run into on the way up.
“Today, entrepreneurs need more than access to financing, they need to keep growing, exchanging experience, and learning from the best in the business. That’s why BAKAI creates business platforms across Kyrgyzstan - from forums and business breakfasts to large-scale educational events. We want entrepreneurs in the regions to have the same opportunities for growth, networking, and learning as businesses in the capital. For us, this is an investment in entrepreneurship and the country’s economy,” said BAKAI.
The Osh forum is part of an ongoing series of BAKAI business events across Kyrgyzstan. The bank has previously hosted major business forums at Issyk-Kul and organized meetings with Igor Mann - one of the most recognized marketing experts in the CIS.
BAKAI continues to build Kyrgyzstan’s entrepreneurial community - going beyond financial services to create a full ecosystem for business growth, knowledge-sharing, and new opportunities for entrepreneurs across the country.
