Clean City - Healthy Environment: BAKAI and “Tazalyk” Join Forces

On October 7, BAKAI handed over modern cleaning equipment to the employees of the municipal enterprise “Tazalyk” to make the cleaning of the capital even more efficient and comfortable.

The enterprise’s fleet was expanded with four new Muravey electric utility trikes, designed for garbage collection from hard-to-reach areas. Thanks to their compact size, they can operate directly from sidewalks without obstructing pedestrians or traffic.

The vehicles are equipped with enclosed driver cabins and have a high operating range, allowing them to be used even in adverse weather conditions. Each Muravey can carry up to 1.5 tons of waste.

In addition, the bank donated two three-wheeled multifunctional cleaning machines that will keep Bishkek’s sidewalks clean and maintain order on the city’s streets.

BAKAI also provided 21 surveillance cameras to be installed in areas where illegal dumping occurs most frequently. These cameras will help the Municipal Inspection Service identify offenders and impose fines.

To improve mobility and convenience for Tazalyk employees, the bank supplied two electric mopeds and one electric scooter - eco-friendly modes of transport that do not cause traffic congestion or harm the environment.

Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Ramiz Aliev expressed his gratitude to the bank’s management:

“You are the first to stand by us for three years now. BAKAI helped us build a service center for 100 employees, provided special equipment, uniforms, and much more. On behalf of the Mayor’s Office and the Tazalyk enterprise, I sincerely thank you for your continued support.”

BAKAI’s Chairman of the Management Board, Umut Abakirova, emphasized that cooperation with Tazalyk is not just assistance, but part of the bank’s mission:

“We take pride in contributing to the cleanliness and comfort of our home city. This year, BAKAI published its first non-financial sustainability report and received its first rating score from the international agency S&P, confirming that we are not only a financial institution but also a socially responsible organization.”
