For the second year in a row, BAKAI Bank served as the general partner of TEXPO, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to supporting strategically important sectors of the national economy.

From September 27 to 29, Bishkek hosted the 5th International TEXPO V Exhibition - the region’s largest export and business platform for the fashion and textile industry.

BAKAI’s engagement extends far beyond one-off partnerships. The Bank has been providing systematic and consistent support to Kyrgyzstan’s textile sector, which today drives the country’s exports and provides tens of thousands of jobs.

This year, TEXPO brought together more than 150 companies from 7 countries - Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Pakistan, Russia, and Turkey. Manufacturers, designers, buyers, and investors gathered to discuss prospects for expanding supply chains and entering new international markets.

TEXPO has proven itself as a platform where new business connections are forged, contracts are signed, and opportunities for the entire industry are unlocked. For BAKAI, supporting TEXPO is a contribution to the sustainable development of the country and tangible assistance for entrepreneurs striving to reach an international level.

The exhibition welcomed more than 600 participants, making it the largest industry event of the year for Kyrgyzstan’s light manufacturing sector. TEXPO V once again demonstrated that Kyrgyzstan has the potential to be the center of the textile industry in Central Asia, and with BAKAI’s support, this step becomes both confident and long-term.
