On April 29, 2025, Bakai Bank, in collaboration with the Labor Legislation Oversight and Compliance Service under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, hosted a landmark event — a conference dedicated to the new Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Held in the Imperial Conference Hall in Bishkek, the event gathered over 200 participants, including HR professionals, legal experts, company executives, and personnel managers from across the city and nearby regions.
The conference served as a platform for open professional dialogue between the business community and government representatives.
Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to engage directly with officials from the Ministry of Labor and labor inspection bodies to address the most pressing topics, including:
—Proper execution of employment contracts in compliance with the new legal requirements;
—Key updates to work schedules, leave entitlements, and working conditions;
—How employers can mitigate legal risks while safeguarding employee rights under the updated legislation.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Aisuluu Bakytovna Oktyabryna, HR Director of Bakai Bank, who emphasized the importance of cultivating a safe and healthy work environment, and fostering constructive collaboration between business and government on labor protection issues.
As a proud partner of this initiative, we at Bakai Bank believe that:
Fair, transparent, and modern labor relations are fundamental to business sustainability, team trust, and the broader economic development of our country.
We remain committed to supporting initiatives that help build a strong, responsible, and future-oriented business community.
