BAKAI served as the Technology Partner of the Bishkek International Financial Forum - BIFF-2026 - held on May 29, 2026. Having participated as a general partner in previous years, BAKAI stepped into the role of Technology Partner at one of Central Asia’s most significant financial events.

Organized by the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic as co-organizer, BIFF-2026 brought together its traditional gathering of banking sector representatives, international financial institutions, IT companies, fintech projects, and experts from across the region and beyond.

This year’s central theme: “Finance in the Age of Digital Transformation: Security, Innovation, and Trust.”
Discussions covered the issues shaping the future of the financial industry:
• Digital transformation and the evolution of payment systems
• Fintech solutions and digital ecosystems
• Cybersecurity, anti-fraud, and risk management
• Blockchain, digital assets, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs)

As Technology Partner, BAKAI brought its experience in digital financial solutions and ecosystem development to the table, with the bank’s experts taking part in key panel discussions throughout the forum.
Anvar Abdraev, President of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, spoke to the forum’s impact and acknowledged BAKAI’s contribution:

Felix Mambetov, Senior Specialist at BAKAI’s Information Security Division, spoke on the panel “Cybersecurity, Anti-Fraud, and Regulation in the Age of Digital Finance”:
“Cybersecurity is no longer just a technology question. It’s a question of client trust and the resilience of the entire financial system. As digital services expand, so do the threats, which is why banks must invest in protective technologies and raise users’ digital literacy at the same time.”
 

Chyngyz Arziev, CEO & Founder of AIRUN (BAKAI Digital), took the stage at the panel “Digital Transformation of Finance: Payment Solutions, Digital Assets, and Ecosystems”to present the new directions BAKAI Digital is pursuing:
